Besan and Rawa Uttapam


Besan and Rawa Uttapam 

INGREDIENTS: 


  • 1 cup Rawa 
  • 3/4 cup maida or all perpose flour
  • 1/4 cup besan
  • 1  onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrot
  • 1/4 cup chopped cauliflower
  • 1/4 cup chopped french  beans
  • 1/4 cup chopped capsicum 
  •  Oil for fry
  • Salt to test
  • Water to make uttapama batter consistency 
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp chicken masala or garam masala


METHOD:

1. In a bowl add rawa, besan, maida, chopped onion, chopped carrot, chopped cauliflower, chopped french  beans,  chopped capsicum, tutmeric powder, chicken masala, salt and mix it well with water to make uttapam batter consistency.
2. Heat a nonstick tawa and pour some oil.
3. Pour the mixture on the tawa and spread like dosa on medium flame.
4. Cover with a lid for 1 minute. Open the lid and flip it and put some oil on the other side and again cover it with the lid. 
5. After 1 minute  open the lid and cook it for both the sides till it became brown.
6. Serve hot with onion, green and red chutney.
